Through a previous business relationship Gary and Sam had with Royal Oak. We were considered their trusted advisor, but we were price checked against Solar Naturally and were $20,000 Cheaper.

Scope of EPC:

  • 400 kW Rooftop Solar: Design, supply, installation, commissioning, and grid connection.
  • 200 kVAr Power Factor Correction: Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Green Credits Optimisation: Provide technical and commercial advice to maximize green credits.

Challenges

When implementing a 400 kW rooftop solar project with power factor correction, one major challenge will be coordinating installation with the construction schedule of the new facility. Ensuring seamless integration between contractors for both construction and energy systems could create delays.

The second challenge was making sure both projects met local standards—technical integration of power factor correction with the solar inverter had to go smoothly. Supply chain delays also threatened timelines.

However, effective communication and planning helped in managing these obstacles successfully.

Outcome

Our 400 kW rooftop solar project was successfully paired with power factor correction, boosting energy efficiency and reducing utility costs. This integration maximizes performance while ensuring improved grid stability.

Both initiatives were seamlessly incorporated into the construction programme of a newly built facility. This integration not only aligns with the project timeline but also guarantees a future-proof, sustainable energy infrastructure.
